These are the basics but always useful to have that list there. Hopefully it sets your mind at ease before your big trip 🙂
Always
- Make sure your passport is safe
- Make sure your flight is for the right day
- Make sure your flight is from and to the right airport
- Make sure you have TSA Precheck and Global Entry on that flight
- Make sure you are good with your visa situation (extra caution with Vietnam lol)
24 hours or more before
- Check in to flight
- Do your laundry
- Pack your bags
- I like to lay out my plane outfit so I don’t accidentally pack what I wanna wear
Night before
- Charge your phone
- Charge your portable charger
- Charge your headphones
- Charge your laptop
- Charge whatever else (gopro whatever)
- Download movies onto your phone
- Clean your room
- Add airplane ticket to your ewallet
- Set an alarm or two or three
Morning of
- Pack your toiletries
- Pack ya snacks
- Pack ya chargers (phone laptop all of it)
- Pack ya eye cover and ear plugs so you can sleep
- Check that passport is in an easy to reach spot
- Check you have all your money and docs and stuff
- Make sure you don’t have big liquids in your carry on (sunscreen hello)
- Check and know your terminal before someone (your uber driver) asks you what it is

Supply is limited for sure but it can’t be fixed.
